Community Guidelines
Random video chat only works when the person on the other side can trust the room. These guidelines apply to every conversation on Omiegle — video and text, first match or hundredth. They are short on purpose: read them once, and they cover everything that matters.
Adults Only
Omiegle is exclusively for people aged 18 and over. Do not use the service if you are under 18, and do not allow or invite anyone under 18 to appear on camera or take part in a conversation.
Zero Tolerance Involving Minors
Any sexual content involving minors, any attempt to contact or solicit a minor, and any presence of a person who appears to be under 18 is treated with zero tolerance. If you believe someone in a conversation is under 18, end the conversation and report them immediately. Violations in this category result in permanent loss of access and may be reported to law enforcement.
No Harassment
Do not insult, demean, intimidate or pursue people who have made clear they are not interested. "They can just skip" is not a defense — the responsibility for your behavior is yours, not the other person's escape button.
No Hate or Threats
No attacks on people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or nationality. No threats of violence against anyone, under any framing, including "jokes."
No Sexual Exploitation
Consent governs everything. Do not pressure anyone into sexual content or conversation they have not clearly welcomed, do not expose people to explicit behavior without their consent, and do not use threats, recordings or leverage of any kind to extract sexual content from anyone. Being an adults-only platform does not suspend consent — it depends on it.
No Impersonation
Do not pretend to be another person, a company, or a representative of Omiegle. Playing a character is fine when it deceives nobody; claiming to be someone you are not, to gain trust or anything else, is not.
No Scams or Commercial Solicitation
Do not ask other users for money, gift cards, cryptocurrency or financial details, and do not promote investment schemes, external paid services or your own storefront. Conversations are for people, not funnels.
No Recording Without Consent
Do not record, screenshot or capture another person's video, voice or messages without their explicit consent, and never share captured content of another person. This applies even when a conversation was friendly at the time.
No Sharing Others' Private Information
Do not publish or pass on anyone's personal information — name, address, workplace, contact details, social profiles — without their consent. This applies to people you met on Omiegle and to anyone else.
Reporting and Enforcement
Report and block tools are available inside the experience. Blocking immediately stops a person from reaching you; reporting flags them for review and action. Violations of these guidelines can lead to warnings, suspension or permanent loss of access, depending on severity — and the categories above involving minors, exploitation or threats skip straight to the severe end.
